MUSCAT: An array of delectable kebab varieties awaits the food connoisseur at The Yellow Chilli outlets in Muscat. On a scorching hot summers day, what more can you ask for?

Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor inspired this North Indian restaurant at A1 Mouj Muscat and Panorama Mall, Bousher and has whipped up a scrumptious platter with a selection of unique kebabs. The festival was recently extended as the management was thrilled that so many guests are excited about the Kebab Festival and wanted to come back again! However, due to overwhelming demand, they extended the Kebab Festival until September 9.

In addition, they have something special planned for guests on the Indian Independence day with a special treat for all diners to enjoy at both The Yellow Chilli outlets at A1 Mouj (The Wave) and Panorama Mall.

The Kebab Festival is all set to bring out the flavours of the Mughal era, which will come alive, the enticing smell of succulent kebabs with a rich aroma; if that sounds like a perfect treat then you have every reason to visit the Kebab Festival at The Yellow Chilli, Oman.

Tirthankar Basu, Business head of Mazaya Oman has urged everyone to come along with family or friends for a tempting tom* to the world of aromatic flavours of age old traditional Mughlai & Afghani Cuisine that would create a tingling in your taste buds made from the secret recipes of the executive Chef of The Yellow Chilli, Hannan Qureshi, with his well-chosen exotic spices and ingredients. Basu also iterated that if the rich flavour of the succulent kebabs really tempts you, then make sure you don't opt to miss being here.

Having taken over the mantle to head The Yellow Chilli outlets Chef Hannan Qureshi was upbeat about the Kebab Festival, which he meticulously put together with liis liighly skilled team of chefs. Briefing on the occasion Chef Qureshi mentioned that, “having worked with Chef Kapoor and having experienced food in multiple facets, it gives me immense pleasure to put forth something distinct for the Omani audience and I’m looking forward to showcase this unique collection of Kebab to all the food lovers of Oman.”

Kalyan Bose, Restaurant manager, added that the item not-to-missed on the menu are the authentic Badami Murgh Seekh, minced chicken flavoured with Indian spices and garnished with almond flakes. Along with this, a large number of other vegetarian Kebabs and a wide range of beverages will also be on offer.

The mouth-watering delicacies include vegetable kebabs like Pa-neer Parmesan Tikka, Gul Mohar Kabab, Subz Shikhampuri Kabab, Gajjar Mutter Ki Ttikki, Murgh Lehsuni Tikka, Badami Murgh, Achari Malii Tikka, Sunheri Jh-inga, Burhani Tawa all at special prices. These will be seived at lunch from noon until 3pm and at dinner from 7-11pm An initiative by Mazaya Oman to celebrate the gourmet Indian cuisine in association with Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor at The Yellow Chilli, this unique food festival, promises to be a one-of-a kind treat for food lovers in the city.
